El Gitano in Burlington

The food and michelada were terrible. And to top it all off it was way over priced. Truest one of the worst mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. The service also terrible

Great food for a nice price!

My wife, out daughter, and myself all got really bad food poisoning from this place a few months back. Manager didn't seem to care, claiming it wasn't her food that did it.

Was there last night with one of my friends Mary Ruggenberg Gilcrease and ran to Rene and his mother and his two sister last night. I loads of fun meeting new people and the band was awesome. I was invited to come back next week

They were catering a birthday party for a one year old. The decorations were awesome and the food was delicious! Definitely be back.

Food order was not correct.

They dropped our chips and we asked for water; ate the entire basket of chips then waited another few minutes before being acknowledged again or getting water. * WATER WAS FILLED INTO A GARDEN WATERING CAN THEN POURED INTO OUR CUP* Second basket of chips were half stale. I don't speak any Spanish so ordering my food or making corrections with the ladies was a nightmare with the language barrier. Margarita was sour *Make sure you read the drink menu, if you expect a fresh lime margarita, ask for a "perfect" one or it's made from a syrup* Carne Asada had zero seasoning and all around the food was bland. Got my first refill of water *FROM A CAN* as we were finishing and asking for our check; which was also overpriced. Ruined date night.

It was good food. The service was super slow which was odd since there was only us and like two other tables there. I'll probably stick with going to one of the other two locations.

Needed to get out of whatcom county for a few hours, decided to hit El Gitano instead of going to the place we were headed to. Great decision! Friendly bartender, excellent customer service. Great drinks.

Always have enjoyed the food at El Gatanos. We are regulars (not every week but we hardly ever go any where else) because they are always friendly and the food is always great, beautiful and plentyful. Best Mexican Around.

Super cute decor, huge salads, accommodating with veg options for the meatless kiddo and delish meats. I'd eat here again in a heartbeat.

Food was okay but I ordered a carne asada burrito and it was very small just beware that’s is expensive Mexican food. The food wasn’t amazing it was okay and tasted good but not worth all the hype they give it. We ate it because we ordered to go and had paid for it already.

Food and service is outstanding. We love it there. You wont be disappointed.

The welcome to the restaurant was warm--accommodations for ten was roomy and comfortable--the service was friendly, efficient and fast--the food was excellent and plentiful--a go back to place without a doubt

Absolutely love this place. I had a steak burrito that took me two days to finish. They also make an outstanding margarita.

Amazing place. Family friendly. I would definitely recommend to anyone. I have a 1 year old, and as you know they dont keep still. The server gave home a balloon and that helped him stay in his chair 😊 defiantly coming here again!!!
